03 · Technical execution
What matters in Walk Through
In a Walk Through, the Lead creates a clear walking pathway for the Follow. The figure is based on actually walking through rather than pulling the Follow sideways past the arm.
The Follow continues the existing walking impulse through the opened lane. Steps and weight changes remain clear.
Hand or frame connection indicates space and direction without holding the pathway or fixing the Follow in one position.
The Lead organizes personal position outside the passage and creates enough space for the Follow to walk through without detouring.
After the pass, connection is reorganized to suit the new position. Only then is the passage technically complete and ready for the next figure.

Body organization in Walk Through
The lead opens a walkable passage and remains outside that lane while the follow continues through it.
The follow continues the pathway with normal weighted steps. The figure does not require artificially long strides or pulling through connection.
Hand or frame contact changes position with the spatial pathway without holding the follow's shoulder or arm behind.

Build Walk Through clearly first
Begin with only opening, walking through, and recovering orientation using a simple light connection.
The follow focuses on traveling through the offered pathway with continuous weight changes.
Does the follow need to slow down or detour because the lead or the arms are blocking the passing lane?

What to observe in a controlled Walk Through
The lead does not occupy space required by the follow for the pass.
The follow can travel through without an unintended stop or corrective detour.
Arms and hands adapt without blocking the follow's shoulder organization.

From Walk Through to related movements
Linear figure that redirects or checks the follow's forward travel before returning them to the pathway.
Advanced linear passage in which the shared orientation is rebuilt through a larger circular rotation while the follow continues to travel through the lane.
The lead opens the pathway and guides the follow through the slot to the opposite side; both finish reoriented toward one another.
A brief release or redirection of hand connection used to prepare a new hand position without throwing or pulling the partner.
A cross-body structure using the opposite opening or passing direction from the common basic form.
A turn whose rotation is briefly checked or redirected through clear lead information before continuing or resolving.
A copa structure resolved into an inward follower turn.
A copa structure resolved into an outward follower turn.
A cross body lead in which the follow performs an inside rotation while traveling and then returns to the shared line.
