What matters in Copa with Inside Turn
The figure first retains the characteristic Copa entry with forward travel, a check or redirection, and independent balance for the Follow.
During the Copa resolution, the inward turn is prepared early enough for the Follow to read the new rotational direction before the actual turn begins.
The Follow organizes the inside rotation through personal steps, weight, and axis. Partner connection communicates direction and timing without replacing self-organized rotation.
The Lead keeps the linear space required for the turn and continued travel clear. Rotation should not push the Follow into the Lead's body or out of the intended pathway.
After the inside-turn resolution, balance, spacing, and couple orientation are re-established so the next linear figure can begin without corrective steps.
