Become Visible
A contemporary ballet project about perception, relationship, and visibility
Twelve people share the same space without initially forming a meaningful relationship with one another. Visibility begins when one person's action produces a response: a gaze, a delay, a changed path, an approach, a boundary, or support.
Seven scenes lead from non-perception through proximity, conflict, and recognition to a shared space. The final image preserves difference rather than dissolving it into uniformity or triumph.
People become visible when their presence changes the behavior of others.
